Concert for LATCH Welsh Children's Charity - Saturday 15th April 2023

Our next engagement will be at Our Lady & St. Michael's RC Church, Pen-y-Pound, Abergavenny where we are supporting a concert being arranged by our soprano, Alys Prosser. Alys herself received support from LATCH after being diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 4 in 2008 and having since made a full recovery is keen to give something back. She has recently started a degree in Musical Theatre at LMA, London and will be performing solos along with who classmate, Kieran Downes, and her aunt Anna Prosser who is a classically trained soprano in addition to the contribution from Harmonize. Tickets can be purchased at the door, doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start and we hope to see as many of the choir's followers there as possible.

Pam Guy's Retirement Party

On Friday 17th March we were able to celebrate Pam's retirement after over 40 years service as Musical Director. It was great to see over 60 choir members, past and present, attend the event at Greenmeadow Golf Club where we were provided with an excellent meal. Our current Treasurer and original choir member, Richard Lilly, gave a fantastic speech and our youngest member Anieri Richards entertained guests with a harp recital as they arrived. Also in attendance was our original and long-serving accompanist Heather Langdon. The evening provided a fitting tribute to say farewell and thank Pam for putting so much into the choir for so long and we hope to continue to see Pam at our future events.
